CIBSE has developed a new methodology to assess the risk of overheating in homes based on Adaptive Comfort through a standardised approach which is to be released in the forthcoming Technical Memoranda: Good Practice in the Design of Homes.
This seminar will present this yet-to-be-released methodology which focuses mainly on assessing overheating risk on flats. It will also discuss the latest guidance from Greater London Authority (GLA) on Overheating and Cooling for dwelling, which encourages the use of dynamic simulation modelling to predict indoor thermal comfort.
