CIBSE NSW Chair Paul Angus

Paul has been an active member of CIBSE since 2004, being involved with the CIBSE NSW & ANZ committee, from 2011 to present.  Since June 2013, in the capacity of CIBSE NSW Chairman.  Paul was appointed Australia and New Zealand Honorary Secretary in March 2014.  He also undertakes the Professional Review Interviews for IEng and CEng, and the Competence Review Interviews for ACIBSE and MCIBSE, and conducts candidate interviews in the NSW region.

He has served as the CIBSE Society of Public Health Engineers (SoPHE) Voluntary Regional facilitator for the North West of England region from 2006 to 2008.  He was also instrumental in co-founding the Scotland SoPHE region from 2008 to 2012.  Paul is the editor of the SoPHE Newsletter.  Paul also Chaired and co-authored the revision to the third edition of the CIBSE Guide G – Plumbing & Public Health Engineering.  He is also lead author on two chapters of the new CIBSE Cold Climate Guide to be published later in 2015.  
 

CIBSE NSW Secretary - Laura Crawford 

Laura has been actively involved with CIBSE in ANZ for the past 4 years and is currently the CIBSE YEN ANZ Chair.  Laura joined the CIBSE NSW Committee in 2014 and is an active member of the CIBSE NSW Education Working Group.  She is also the CIBSE NSW Secretary.
 

CIBSE NSW Treasurer – Andrew Pettifer

Andrew is a CIBSE Fellow and has been on the NSW committee since 2011.  He currently holds the position of treasurer.  He also undertakes the Professional Review Interviews for IEng and CEng, and the Competence Review Interviews for ACIBSE and MCIBSE, and conducts candidate interviews in the NSW region.
 

CIBSE NSW Membership - Martin Craig

Martin has been an active member of CIBSE since 2001, having obtained Chartered Engineer and MCIBSE status in 2006.  Having been working in Australia since early 2011, Martin is now the membership coordinator for CIBSE NSW, providing mentoring and guidance for engineers working towards Chartership. He facilitates the organisation of the Professional Review Interviews for IEng and CEng, and the Competence Review Interviews for ACIBSE and MCIBSE, and conducts candidate interviews in the NSW region.
 

CIBSE NSW Communication – Phil Senn

Phil joined CIBSE as a Graduate in 2010.  He joined the CIBSE NSW Committee in 2013 and leads the Committee's Communications subgroup. Outside of the Committee Phil represents the building owner's side in his role as Manager Technical Services within listed property group Charter Hall.
 

Steve Hennessy

Stephen Hennessy is the current past Chairman for the Australia and New Zealand Region of CIBSE.  He has had a long association with the Institution, serving in the past as the NSW Chairman, and the national membership secretary. He also served as Region Chairman from 2004 to 2006.  In 2010 he was awarded a Silver Medal for services to the Institution.  He also undertakes the Professional Review Interviews for IEng and CEng, and the Competence Review Interviews for ACIBSE and MCIBSE, and conducts candidate interviews in the NSW region.


Gus Nainu

Gus has been actively involved with CIBSE NSW Chapter for the past two years with a keen focus on promoting the educational aspect of the CIBSE and increasing membership amongst our young engineering professionals.
 

Ian White

Ian is a Chartered member of CIBSE.  He has mentored a number of young professionals through the chartership process, including both standard and alternative routes.  This is his first year serving on the NSW committee. 



Mathew Klinfalt

Mathew has been with volunteering for CIBSE since 2010.  He was elected YEN President in 2012 and in currently serving as the National Treasurer.  Mathew is the Managing Director of Ultraflow Group, providing building services in Stormwater Design and Indoor Climate.
 

Tejes C Das

Tejes has been a CIBSE member since December 2013, serving on the NSW committee in the Technical Working Group.

He is a Chartered Engineer with a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.  He is experienced in design, testing, commissioning and performance evaluation of commercial and institutional building HVAC and Smoke Control systems.

 

NSW Chapter 2015 Calendar of Events

The CIBSE NSW Chapter holds its technical sessions on the first Tuesday of each month between February and November inclusive commencing promptly at 6:00pm. The venue is The Portside Centre, Level 5, 207 Kent Street, Sydney (near Napoleon St).
