Dates announced for 2015 Building Performance Conference & Exhibition

Dates have been announced for the second CIBSE Building Performance Conference and Exhibition. Following its successful launch in 2014, the two day annual event will be returning to the QEII Centre in London Westminster on 3rd-4th November 2015.

The conference and exhibition looks at the efficient design, construction, maintenance and operation of buildings and the systems that support them. It will bring together clients, engineers and designers, contractors and product manufacturers – the full supply chain – to share knowledge.

The conference programme will be announced in May, shortly after the General Election and will have strong links with the CIBSE Building Performance Awards. Case studies of the 2015 winners will demonstrate best practice in actual, measured performance, not just design intent or performance specifications. Conference speakers will identify and focus on the developments and innovations that are materially assisting the industry to improve the performance of both existing and new buildings.

An exhibition area featuring 32 leading suppliers, consultants and manufacturers, will be free to enter for registered visitors. Free to attend CIBSE CPD accredited presentations will also be taking place over the two days, giving real examples and case studies of performance benefits with emphasis on technical development.

The event is being organised by Step, who also organise major events including Healthcare Estates, Education Estates and the OAS Development Awards. Step will work closely with CIBSE who have over 20,000 members in 100 countries around the world and a global network of professional support and expertise. CIBSE works in partnership with other professional bodies, construction and engineering firms worldwide. Topics covered will include: energy efficiency, heating and ventilation, lighting, public health, commissioning and facilities management within the building services industry.
