Posted: 14 January 2015
With less than one year until eligible organisations must demonstrate compliance with the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS), CIBSE Certification Ltd is rapidly expanding its register of ESOS Lead Assessors. Over 200 people have undertaken CIBSE’s ESOS Lead Assessor training, with a further 100 booked, and the number on the ESOS register passed the 100 mark on 13th January.
ESOS is expected to result in cost benefits of £1.6bn to the 9,400 participating businesses, with CIBSE’s highly qualified energy assessors leading the way.
If you are already a CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant (LCC), then your existing skills and experience mean that you can undertake a one-day course as part of the application process to become an ESOS Lead Assessor. Those wishing to become an LCC should visit www.cibseenergycentre.co.uk for more information.
