CIBSE Building Performance Awards

Call for entries: 1 June 2015 - 10 September 2015
Winners announced: 24 February 2016
Recognising the businesses, teams, products and projects that demonstrate engineering excellence in the built environment. Entries are sought that demonstrate improved energy efficiency through measured building performance.

CIBSE Young Engineers' Awards (YEA)

Awards: 13 October 2016
Bringing together the CIBSE ASHRAE Graduate of the Year and the Employer of the Year awards.

Society of Light and Lighting (SLL) Young Lighter of the Year

Call for entries: January - 9 May 2016
Awards: 24 November 2016
Providing a unique platform for young lighters to write a paper on a lighting subject, hone their presentation skills in front of an invited panel of judges, and raise their profile within the industry, and win professional kudos.

President's Prize: CIBSE Undergraduate Award

Call for entries: January - 22 July 2016
Winner announced: August 2016
Awarded to students in their final year of a building services course accredited by CIBSE recognising their academic achievements at the end of their course of study.

Society of Public Health Engineer (SoPHE) Young Engineer Award

Call for entries: 2016 dates to be confirmed
Applicants, aged 18-35, are challenged to develop an engineering solution. Winners then receive an in-country technical visit to verify the applicability of their design.

Ken Dale Travel Bursary

Call for entries: Deadline extended to Friday 22 April 2016
Winner announced: Elie El Choufani 
The bursary makes awards available of between £1,500 and £4,000 to CIBSE members in the developmental stage of their careers and offers the chance to travel and research areas connected with the applicant's field of work.

Masters Student Award in Building Simulation

Expressions of interest: 2016 dates to be confirmed
An annual prize run by the CIBSE Building Simulation Group open to postgraduate students from the UK and overseas. The aim is to encourage the use of, and develop innovation in, building simulation techniques for research and development.
