BIM Objects for Lighting Design |

Good afternoon, I am trying to establish the current need among lighting/ lighting control designers for equipment manufacturers to provide BIM Product Objects? 1. Are BIM designs for lighting/ lighting control currently being called for by clients ? 2. If so, Do you think lighting & lighting control manufacturers are up to speed and providing a range of BIM objects to assist current designs? 3. If not, do you think BIM objects at such a granular level will be required or is BIM only going to be used to model/coordinate physically larger items of M&E equipment wnen producing designs/ co-ordination?
