Further to DCLG ratings on efficiency for plant and building services - what is the CIBSE advice on non compliant plant such as air handling units not meeting SFP requirements.What action should be taken if plant has been identified that does not meet DCLG ratings and is dated from 2006 onwards. Basically you get your CIBSE inspection, the plant fails etc. so what recourse should be made - usually with a consultant involved responsible for the installatiion design - just a for instance hypothetical situation of course. What other course of action would be suggested if plant is identified without the CIBSE inspection that also does not meet DCLG efficiencies - hypothetically speaking that has already been designed and accepted utilising the services of a consultant.
