Does anyone know which is the latest version of ORCalc or where I can download the latest version of the DEC software? I am unsure of the latest version and the website doesn't seem to be working (unless it is a problem with our server/internet access) http://www.ukreg-accreditation.org/ND-GovORCalc.php

The ORcalc software is now hosted by Landmark: https://www.ndepcregister.com/secure/softwareDownloads.html You will need to have installed a valid digital certificate to access these secure pages. Also you will need to install a software patch because of a recent bug in the software.

Is it just me? All week since last weekend's Landmark "shutdown maintenance" I have been unable to lodge any DEC's. I have downloaded, removed and re-down loaded the latest versions and Welsh patches and latest digital certificates etc. etc. several times over and also used another computer as well with diffrent windows operating system and antivirus software (just in case)- and when I press "Check details" the system says I am not recognosed or registered with Landmark even though I am with CIBSE, Stroma and BRE and Landmark's own Assesor Listing web page proves it! Anyone else been in the same situation and overcome it please? Mike

The solution sounds a bit crazy, but installing the OR Calc Welsh language patch sorts the problem out. I'm not sure if CIBSE have put anything on the web FAQ but give that a try if not.

Update. Reloaded the Systemslink programme and fortunately that now works fine so am using that again but I have heard from someone that was user on a large network that was not so lucky. As for ORCalc - removed, reloaded including the Welsh patch etc. maybe 10 or 11 times now and its just won't recognise me(plus tried several times on a different computer as well). When running the patch, it identifies that ORCalc is installed, but when the "Update" button is clicked it says "Failed to update ORCalc. Unable to back up existing file" then it throws up an Unhandled exception error message and states "Access to pathC:\ORCalcUpdater.txt is denied". At least I now know I am not the only one to have had problems so thats a minor consolation. At the end of the day, fortunately I can lodge by another means so I have given up with this now and will probably remove ORCalc completely.

Thanks Dave. Madness - installed the Welsh patch and it now works!

I downloaded the Welsh patch but it didn't work...then I realised I had mutliple versions of ORCalc installed and had updated the wrong version. All works fine now. Apparently the fault is that without the patch the software is trying to look up the register but the register has a typo in the name referenced

Can anyone tell me how to download the software? I have downloaded the digital certificate and filled in the passwords, but when I go to the Landmark website and click on the authorised user area, it tells me that a digital certificate is required and to try again using one. How do I use the digital certificate? I assumed it would automatically find it on my system, or givve a location where you can insert the certificate.
