The campaign aims to involve organisations throughout the UK in working together to cut carbon emissions in their buildings. Join the 100 hours Carbon Clean Up, the fourth annual campaign and we will help you add the small things up and reach a turning point.
Carbon saving in your building is easier than you think and it can make a big difference to the cost of your energy bills.
Sign up is free. Everyone can get involved and take part in the campaign by simply turning off lights and monitors in the office, changing light bulbs, printing out fewer emails and switching off the air conditioning.
These simple changes seem like a small fry but when used as part of an overall strategy to cut the size of your organization bill, it could make a real difference to your pocket and can result in a more comfortable work place as well as significant cutting carbon levels. And the best thing is that it can cost nothing!
If you choose to, you can venture in more advanced, longer term changes like investing in new technology or introducing new lighting and heating systems to a building, as well as the purchasing of recycled paper and energy efficient appliances. You can target anything that uses energy or burns fuel.
Join us in this year's carbon clean up and learn how to use less energy. You may even become a winner in this year's Low Carbon Awards for innovative and inspirational low carbon solutions.
