Spend an hour finding out about metering at the Univesity of Manchester

We have arranged for Chris Cunningham, Assistant Mechanical and Energy Engineer from the University of Manchester to give a technical tour around parts of the University.
The tour will show you what the University is doing to monitor their energy usage across their large site.
The tour is for around an hour and you will get an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Places are limited to six people and the tour will take place on the 6th October at 11am.

Data collation and assessment for DEC's

A days training for those who need to know more about commissioning, collecting data for or putting together a Display Energy Certificate.

  • A look at what data is needed to produce a detailed and accurate Display Energy Certificate
  • How to gain access to the areas you need to audit
  • Where to find the meters you need
  • What floor areas are important
  • How to separate buildings in to different defined areas
  • Recording the information so it can be used off site and managing the assessor audit trail, i.e. recording the information to support your findings as an assessor.

We have arranged for one of our experienced CIBSE DEC assessors, Andrew Gardner,  to give a technical tour around Crawley K2 Leisure Centre. The tour will show you what collecting data and producing a high quality DEC involves. The tour is for an hour and you will get an opportunity to ask all the questions you have about preparing a DEC and how bringing in an assessor to your site can help.
