Technical Tour of Sambrooks Brewery, Battersea:
Location: Battersea, London

Gather at 18:00.The tour begins at 18:30 and finishes at 20:00.

We have managed to organise a technical tour of Sambrooks Brewery, Battersea. The head brewer is a qualified chemical engineer who will supervise our tour and has been primed with a range of technical questions to answer about the process and services: including services design requirements. Light sampling of the products - which include bitter, amber, pale ale and porter, plus a special seasonal beer - will be permitted in order to understand the different product requirements.  

Concludes with celebrated Sambrooks-battered fish & chips and the off-sales shop.  

The brewery is a short walk or on bus route 295 from Clapham Junction rail station.

Clothing: Wear sensible, sturdy footwear. The brewery will provide other PPE.

HCNW have specially-arranged to screen this staggeringly beautiful film by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, released for World Environment Day in 2009. The thoughtful "Home" delivers its environmental and sustainability message through aerial photography, revealing the full glory of our intensely-colourful planet. With measured narration by Glenn Close, "Home" glides along Armand Amar's soundtrack to a surprisingly uplifting ending.

express and bring out personal achievements that enhance your application.

HCNW is also establishing a mentoring programme; volunteer mentors welcome.
There will be a short talk called Mentoring for Life; giving you ideas on
how to find a mentor, how it can benefit your career, about CIBSE mentoring
guidelines and how to use mentoring for life, not just one application.
