CHP in Action - A Programme of visits supported by the Carbon Trust

In 2006 and 2007 the CIBSE CHP Group held a series of site visits around the country to showcase CHP. Supported by the Carbon trust and sponsored by individual manufacturers the project team was a collaboration between CIBSE, BRE and BES, an independent consultancy.

The events were designed to encourage CHP take up in different sectors and those covered included, leisure, hospitals, education and district heating schemes. In total over 200 people attended the visits with over five hundred further enquiries from members of CIBSE, other building professionals and the general public.
