CIBSE Young Engineers Network (YEN)
Introduction
The CIBSE Young Engineers Network (YEN) is a network of regional centres that aim to provide a forum & support network for young engineers within CIBSE.
The CIBSE Young Engineers' Network Champions Awards
Rewarding companies who are committed to the development of young engineers
If you put the development of young engineers at the heart of your business, and you can show innovation and commitment in developing the skills and expertise of your more junior employees then you could be eligible to enter the YEN Champions Awards.
To achieve the targets of the years to come it is essential that we are developing our engineers on an ongoing basis.
A highly competent workforce is essential for the advancement of building services and the development of a more sustainable building stock, and we want to reward those organisations who are helping to make this happen.
The industry faces the challenge of ensuring that engineering is the career of choice for talented students, apprentices and graduates and it is vital that companies support and encourage young talent as much as possible.
If your organisation pro-actively champions young people in the BSE industry, whether through your commitment to the young people in employment or by supporting those in education, then tell us your story.
This is your chance to share your dedication with the rest of the industry, to highlight the long term benefits of being part of your organisation and to further cement your reputation as a champion of young engineers. All companies, whether large or small, are encouraged to enter.
The CIBSE Young Engineers Network Champions Awards will be presented at a reception in Central London, on 8 July.
