Technical Journals - BSERT, CIBSE Journal and LR&T
CIBSE has two technical Journals (published by Sage). CIBSE members benefit from free online access to Building Services Engineering Research and Technology Journal (BSER&T), while SLL members can also access Lighting, Research & Technology Journal (LR&T). These are in addition to the monthly CIBSE Journal which is sent to members directly.
Building Services Engineering Research & Technology (BSERT) is CIBSE's quarterly journal containing refereed papers on all aspects of building services engineering. It is free online to all CIBSE members via the Member Area.

The CIBSE Journal provides the news and information needed by building services engineers and associated industry professionals. In particular, we will focus on the key issues of low carbon and sustainability, featuring case studies and best practice from all over the world.

How do CIBSE Members get access to BSER&T?
Simply log into the CIBSE website with your CIBSE membership login in, go to the Members Area and a link is available for you to click straight through.
How do SLL Members get access to LR&T?
Simply log into the SLL website at www.sll.org.uk and there is a link on the Member Area homepage.
What if I am having problems with getting access to the journal?
It could be that your safety settings are not allowing you to get access, try adding the following url's as a ‘trusted site'
bse.sagepub.com or lrt.sagepub.com (ensure you do not include "http" or "www" in the url)

How to order print version of BSER&T or LR&T
Members should contact the Subscriptions Department: email subscription@sagepub.co.uk Tel: +44 (0) 20 7324 8701 and state they are CIBSE members to receive the volume at the highly discounted rate of £50.
