Technical seminar to be held at: Arup, Manchester, 6th floor 3 Piccadilly Place, M1 3BN on Tuesday 19th September 6.00pm to 7.00pm. Light refreshments provided from 5.30pm. A social gathering will follow to a local bar with appetizers and drinks.
The design of architectural and the media facades presents a challenge in terms of creativity and integration between different disciplines: architecture, materials, structure, lighting and multimedia content are some of the aspects to be considered in design phase.
This CPD seminar will explore design possibilities with architectural façade lighting and the application and opportunities for dynamic lighting in architectural design. It will cover a definition of LED technology and where it sits in the lighting industry and considerations for specifying a good quality LED system. These learning objectives will be illustrated by live project case studies to illustrate the principles.
