Engineer of the Year
This award recognises and rewards the important work done by practicing building services engineers and their contribution to the performance of the built environment. It celebrates individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to engineering in 2015-2017. Please note that this is not a lifetime achievement award.

The Engineer of the Year is a nominator-driven award; self-nominations will not be accepted.
Who should enter?
Nominees for this award must be practicing engineers registered with the Engineering Council (CEng, IEng or EngTech) or equivalent, and the award will be given to the nominee who best demonstrates an exceptional contribution to and excellence in, their profession.
Each entry must have a nominator and two or more support nominatiors. Supporting nominators should provide their contact information and a short statement on why they are endorsing the engineer.
Either the primary nominator or one of the supporting nominators must be registered with the Engineering Council (CEng, IEng or EngTech) or equivalent. Supporting nominations will be accepted from clients, other professionals, and other participants in the supply chain.
The Judging process
Nominations will be evaluated by a judging panel who will draw up a shortlist of no more than 10 nominees. Those short listed will then be invited to interview by the panel in December 2019. Shortlisted nominees will be advised in advance the format of the interview.
