The President's Prize
The President's Prize: the CIBSE Undergraduate Award
Whether you are an individual studying building services engineering, just starting out in your career, or working for a building services company that delivers outstanding projects or products, CIBSE offers a number of ways that you and your team can be recognised for your achievements and celebrate success.
The Award is open to all CIBSE Student members in their final year of BSc, BEng and MEng study. A selection panel, appointed by the CIBSE Board, will decide which project is worthy of winning by looking for evidence of excellent understanding and knowledge in building services engineering, science and design, as well as originality and high quality visual information. The Award is the subject of an open competition and has an annual closing date.
The CIBSE Undergraduate Award is now inviting entries. The Award is open to all CIBSE student members in their final year of a BSc, BEng and MEng course accredited by CIBSE, and is designed to encourage students to develop their potential and aim for excellence.
CIBSE is especially keen to encourage applicants' whose final year projects share CIBSE's interest in sustainability.
Entrants need to submit a 2000 word synopsis of their final year project, together with a completed application form. A judging panel will be looking for evidence of excellent understanding and knowledge in building services engineering, science and design, as well as originality and high quality visual information.
The winner will receive a £500 cheque and trophy, presented at the President’s Award dinner in October. Two runners-up will each receive £100.
Please send a completed application form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Entries must be submitted by Friday 10th July 2020.
