ILEVE Ballot for Chair
The ILEVE Steering Committee and CIBSE Board have agreed that a one-off nomination and election process is needed to appoint a Chair of ILEVE to hold office until the 2020 ILEVE AGM.
This is the result of some uncertainties that have been identified in the ILEVE rules, and of administrative errors that were made by CIBSE in the handling of nominations ahead of the 2018 ILEVE AGM for which CIBSE wishes to apologise to ILEVE members.
The ILEVE Steering Committee has agreed that they will nominate Dean Greer (a current member of the Steering Committee) for the position of Chair.
Additional nominations for Chair may be submitted by Corporate members (Fellows, Members, Associates and Licentiates of ILEVE), by delivering them to Stuart Brown, CIBSE Deputy Chief Executive (email@example.com), at the registered address of CIBSE by 5th September 2018.

Please note that candidates must:
be Corporate Members of ILEVE;
be nominated by two other ILEVE Corporate Members; and
confirm their willingness to stand in writing by the closing date for nominations.
In the event that there is more than one candidate for the position of Chair, a ballot will be held. Ballot papers will then be sent to all ILEVE Corporate Members on 12th September 2018, to be returned completed to Stuart Brown, by 3rd October 2018.
Candidates may submit a candidate statement to be circulated along with the ballot paper, and a form for this purpose is available here. Please note that CIBSE discourages open canvassing in elections, by candidates or by others on their behalf, and all members are asked to respect this.
Candidates will need to return the candidate statement form by 5th September 2018 to allow these to be processed along with the ballot papers.
