Posted: 28 March 2013
‘Delivering buildings that are truly fit for purpose' is the theme of this year's CIBSE Technical Symposium to be held in Liverpool on 11 - 12 April. It provides an opportunity for building experts to exchange practical experience as well as new research findings and observations to help inform the practice of good building services engineering into the future.
Presentations will explore benchmarking, metering and examples of real life building performance at the event, which is being held at the Art and Design Academy, Liverpool John Moores University.
George Adams, CIBSE President Elect said: "The papers address practical engineering experiences as well as current research and development. The programme for the Technical Symposium shows the depth of work that is being undertaken to take our knowledge and understanding forward. I am personally delighted to be chairing such an event and looking forward to learning from the papers being presented."
The CIBSE Technical Symposium encourages industry practitioners and researchers from industry and academe to share experience and develop networks, and is suitable for both experienced professionals and those at the developmental stage of their careers.
CIBSE is passionate about training and sharing knowledge and continues to host a range of events for members and non-members to encourage knowledge sharing and best practice in building services engineering.
