Amendments to the planning system for electricity storage

Objectives of the consultation

This was a follow up consultation on proposed changes to the treatment of electricity storage under the planning system issued by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). This new proposal took into account responses and evidence received as part of the original consultation held in January 2019. The consultation document contained the summary of responses and Government response to the initial consultation.

This consultation closed on 10 December 2019.
