Course Content

This course will be broken down into the following sessions:

  • Why monitoring and targeting is important
  • Ways of measuring energy performance through M&T
  • EPBD, EPCs and Display Energy Certificates (DECs)
  • Simple benchmarking to identify bad buildings
  • Using sub-metering to identify poor end-uses
  • Using half hourly data
  • Regression and CUSUM analysis
  • Using CIBSE TM22 software to analyse performance
  • Using building log books to record performance
  • Implementing your ‘monitoring’ action plan
