The CIBSE Undergraduate Award
This Award is open to all CIBSE Student members in their final year of BSc, BEng or MEng study, and is designed to encourage students to develop their potential and aim for excellence. A selection panel, appointed by the CIBSE Board, will decide which project is worthy of winning by looking for evidence of excellent understanding and knowledge in building services engineering, science and design, as well as originality and high-quality visual information. The Award is the subject of open competition and has an annual closing date.
Deadline for Entries - 15 July 2022
CIBSE is especially keen to encourage applicants whose final year projects share CIBSE's interest in sustainability.
Entrants need to submit a 2000 word synopsis of their final year project, together with a completed application form. A judging panel will be looking for evidence of excellent understanding and knowledge in building services engineering, science and design, as well as originality and high-quality visual information.
The winner will receive a £500 cheque and trophy, presented at the President’s Award dinner later in the year. Two runners-up will each receive £100.
