Speaker's Profile

Innovate UK’s Low Impact Building Innovation Platform. Rick Holland’s career in the buildings and energy sector started over ten years ago. This includes gaining Chartership with CIBSE and a PhD in post-occupancy evaluation from Nottingham University. Rick has been identified as an industry Future Leader by the UKGBC, and he is active in the CIC 2050 Group which represents the future of the industry on the Construction Leadership Council. At Innovate UK, Rick is responsible for setting up competitions for innovation funding, helping companies to apply, and disseminating the results for the sector’s benefit.
