Building Energy Consumption
Occupant and management behaviour/approach can largely influence building energy consumption; ultimately governing how much, and for how long, energy systems are used.
Realistic Predictions and Demand Reduction are Needed
With increasing fuel prices and corporate and social responsibility pressures for low carbon design, clients will want real guarantees that their buildings perform as expected, making designers more accountable. Future performance predictions will need to be made with confidence, with the results living up to expectations.
