Speaker's Profile

Andrew Green is vice chairman of the B&ES SFG20 technical standards and has been instrumental in the developing the compliance service models (aligned to RICS new rules of measurement and CIBSE) as well as helping clients and contractors to put the standard into practice on many large portfolios. As technical director of Faithful+Gould he is responsible for delivery of business critical focused maintenance and also life cycle costing services, across public and private sectors – including the application of asset criticality based maintenance strategies – to suit the functional building use. In 2007 Andrew was awarded an ‘exceptional contribution’ to industry by Sir Michael Latham for his work in achieving ‘whole life value’ to buildings (such as schools, stations, prisons and offices) He then co-authored the DTI sponsored guide to achieving whole life value in infrastructure & buildings.
