YEN Trivia Quiz – Does your knowledge measure up?

Roars of laughter and nail-biting fun as young engineers came together from around Australia and New Zealand for a battle of wits at the CIBSE ANZ YEN Trans-Tasman Trivia Challenge conducted over Zoom.

Questions on the night ranged from building services engineering knowledge to brain teasers, and pondering where on earth the “Big Merino” is.
Team Last-Minute came away as the winners. Made up of Taylah Richardson, Student, NZ; Storm Harpham, BDT NZ; and CIBSE ANZ’s 2020 Young Engineer of the Year Award winner, Prateek Alkesh, Aecom, AU.

We caught up with Prateek soon after the event, who said, “It was a wonderful way to connect with fellow young engineers from across the ANZ region.  Networking events have been difficult in the last year, and we hardly ever get the opportunity to meet our peers in other cities, so this was a welcome change. Winning the close contest was the cherry on top!”

All member of the winning team went away with a Westfield Gift Voucher.

The industry can look forward to more events from the Young Engineers Network in 2021.
