The CIBSE Seminar Series Advisory Panel made the decision this week to move the 2020 series to an online platform. On Wednesday 9 September 2020 attendees can stream the live event straight to their homes or offices.
We are all very excited to announce that the CIBSE ANZ 2020 Seminar Series is to be provided on a digital platform this year. We are commited to delivering quality technical series whilst maintaining a safe environment for our delegates and members in the current regime. The live webinar format allows people to attend from across the Australia and New Zealand region at one event, with presenters delivering from their chosen locations. This approach provides certainty on the event proceeding and we really believe it will be memorable first for CIBSE ANZ.”
- Mark Crawford, CIBSE ANZ Chair.
This half-day event is traditionally run as a roadshow, touring Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane. Moving to an online forum has many benefits for attendees, our partners and the environment.
“ A virtual platform makes this event accessible to attendees outside our major cities. It also allows us to showcase video footage and bring lessons from global presenters and net-zero case studies without the associated carbon footprint."
- Jen Cardwell, Seminar Series Advisory Panel
Programme
In the future, net zero carbon buildings will be driven not only by social responsibility but by policy and changing codes and standards. The seminar will focus on a 2020 vision for a 2030 reality. It will cover what property owners, operators and building services consultants need to know, detailing a variety of approaches and case studies.
