The 2023 CIBSE training programme is now available, including training and CPD content focused on building safety and energy efficiency.

Content is offered in a range of formats to meet a variety of needs, including remote, face-to-face, and on-demand training. This provides improved accessibility and flexibility for those attending, and for those taking part online, there are several digital resources and interactive technologies.

You can find out more about the benefits and differences between remote and face-to-face training in this recent CIBSE blog post - http://www.cibseblog.co.uk/2022/10/face-to-face-or-remote-training.html

An early bird discount is currently available for bookings made before 20 January 2023, with the discount code included in the programme. CIBSE also offers competitive corporate rates, encouraging employers to support the ongoing development of their staff. This includes the 2023 corporate calculator for on-demand trainers, enabling organisations to estimate costs for purchasing key courses and modules relevant to their business.

Supporting the ongoing work that CIBSE is doing around the implementation of the Building Safety Act 2022, the introduction to the Building Safety Act course provides a comprehensive introduction, outlining the role of the new Building Safety Regulator and what this might mean as a built environment professional.

Alongside building safety, the transition to net zero carbon and energy efficiency have long been priorities for CIBSE. Within the new programme, you will see details about courses focusing on embodied carbon in MEP design and how to use CIBSE’s embodied carbon calculation methodology, TM65. There is training available on energy efficiency-related building regulations and low and zero carbon energy technologies. CIBSE has also introduced a course on the Heat Networks Code of Practice (CP1).
