Course Content

Commissioning is a quality assurance process that enables project teams to produce better buildings and provide a better service to their clients. 

This course will take delegates on a project journey from inception to post-handover. It will outline the key commissioning process activities that need to take place in order to deliver buildings that work in accordance with the requirements of client stakeholders.

  • An overview of the commissioning process – from project inception through to operation and use


Session 2 - A journey through the commissioning process: Part 1
 
  • Commissioning process activities during the preparation and briefing stage of a project

  • Commissioning process activities during the design stage of a project

  • Commissioning process activities during the pre-construction stage of a project


Session 3 - A journey through the commissioning process: Part 2
 
  • Commissioning process activities during the construction stage of a project

  • Commissioning process activities during the performance validation stage of a project


Session 4 - A journey through the commissioning process: Part 3 
 
  • Commissioning process activities during the pre-handover stage of a project

  • Commissioning process activities during the initial occupation stage of a project

  • Commissioning process activities during the ongoing life of an asset
