22 November 2017 18:00 - 19:30

Leeds Beckett University, Rose Bowl, Portland Crescent

CPD Hours
For many years, workspaces have been treated as purely functional spaces without too much consideration for the health and comfort of workers. Building Services Engineers are now becoming more aware of the importance of a comfortable workspace and how this will improve productivity and potentially attract higher rents.
The WELL Building Standard is an accreditation system that attempts to measure how building features impact on health and wellbeing. Compliance requirements fit into seven key areas: air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort and mind. Andy Chell of Lumilow Lighting will be looking at the WELL Building Standard and the impact of each area, with a special focus on the area of light.
If you like to tweet, or are unable to attend, but still be involved, follow #YCIBSE on the night.
