Established in 2011, the Institute of Local Exhaust Ventilation Engineers (ILEVE) has been instrumental in raising awareness about the importance of effective ventilation systems.
Following a comprehensive strategic review and consultation with the ILEVE membership, which was overseen by the CIBSE Board, the decision was made to transition ILEVE, in April 2024, to a dormant status and introduce the Workplace Exhaust Ventilation Group to extend CIBSE’s impact in this crucial area.
