Speaker's Profile

Jo Harris has an MSc in Facilities Management and a BSc in Electrical /Electronic Engineering. She leads all BSRIA’s work on facilities management and has managed consultancy contracts for key BSRIA clients. Jo has responsibility for the BSRIA Operations and Maintenance Benchmarking network which captures benchmarking data covering building operations and maintenance. Jo has contributed to BSRIA’s publications relating to Asset Management and Maintenance Audits, Condition Surveys and Asset Data Capture, Building Manuals and User Guides, Maintenance Contracts and Business Focused Maintenance. Jo has been Chair of the CIBSE maintenance task group for over three years and has been responsible this year for coordinating the update of CIBSE Guide M Maintenance Engineering and Management. Jo was also recently involved in the production of PAS 1192-3 from BSI ‘Specification for information management for the operational phase of construction projects using building information modelling’ published in March 2014.
