Introduction:

• This presentation will explore the issues surrounding the design of appropriate ventilation and passive comfort control strategies for residential buildings in dense urban environments.
•  As a case study, a new residential development in London will be considered. The development consists of a mult-residential apartment block, adjacent a busy road. It has recently received planning approval.
