As he approaches the end of his terms as CIBSE President, Kevin Mitchell reflects on the previous year and shares some of his highlights in his CIBSE President's Blog.
Kevin shares his appreciation for all of the support he has received from CIBSE Members around the world, including the brilliant response from members to the CIBSE 125 Challenges, which he launched at the start of his presidency in May 2023.
Other highlights include CIBSE's ongoing contribution to the development of the UK Net Zero Carbon Building Standard; visiting CIBSE members and regional committees outside of the UK; updates to the CIBSE Climate Action Plan; ongoing developments to CIBSE's embodied carbon calculation methodology, TM65; and annual awards and CIBSE's flagship event, Build2Perform Live.
