You will act as a key customer-facing engineer, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with company standards. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair commercial gas appliances and plant equipment Diagnose faults and attend emergency call-outs (including out-of-hours) Carry out installations and system upgrades Provide technical advice to clients on asset management and replacements Support quotations by providing accurate job data (parts, labour, timelines) Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company procedures Act as a technical specialist within your team Requirements Current ACS / Commercial Gas qualifications (Gas Safe registered) Experience in commercial heating and mechanical services Full UK driving licence Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team IT literate (basic Microsoft Office) Willingness to participate in call-out rota Additional Information DBS check required due to client environments Equal opportunities employer

Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding design team at their modern Banbridge or Newtownabbey facility. Your new role In this senior role, you will lead mechanical design activities from concept through to commissioning, collaborating closely with fabrication, project management and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project delivery. As the Fire Safety Officer, you will assist the Fire Safety Manager in implementing, monitoring and reviewing the Housing Executive's Fire Safety Policies, Processes and Procedures and ensure the NIHE is fully compliant with its statutory and regulatory undertakings and reduces any risk to its customers, employees, and third parties to as low as reasonably practicable. The key duties will include: Lead fire safety management across a portfolio of premises, ensuring a customer‑focused and compliant service. Carry out Fire Risk Assessments and produce effective Action Plans. Oversee and coordinate fire safety works with contractors and internal teams. This position offers an immediate start with weekly payment via BACS transfer with all business mileage expenses being reimbursed at 45p per mile. The role allows for an excellent work-life balance with the working hours amounting to 37 per week along with an annual holiday entitlement of 35 days, inclusive of stats.
