Senior Mechanical Engineer - To £58K + Package Looking for autonomy, diverse projects and structured training and development program? As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll work closely with the M&E Director, a recognised expert in the design of low-energy buildings. You'll be given the freedom to lead your own projects, yet have full support and backing from the Directors or Associates when you need it. As a recognised "Investor in People," this multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is all about attracting, developing and retaining its staff. Based in their stunning office overlooking the Thames, you'll become a key part of a multi-disciplinary team of architects, civil and structural engineers, BIM technicians, and M&E Design Engineers. You'll be involved in both new builds and complex refurbishment projects across the education, healthcare, emergency services, defence, residential, and listed buildings. Projects vary from a £10K survey of a listed building right through to a £200M new build development. Their culture recognises and rewards high achievers, and they also offer specialist training in Project Management, as they appreciate that great engineers don't always make great leaders. Requirements Degree qualified in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering. At least four years' experience in a similar role. Previous experience working for an engineering consultancy or design and build contractor. Familiar with IES, H2X, or Hevacomp. Comfortable leading HVAC design, producing calculations and specifications, and reports. Able to attend site and progress meetings. Experience leading and mentoring a few Junior or Intermediate Engineers.
