Partner - Fire Engineer

Partner Fire Engineer – UK Building Consultancy – to £100,000 + Bonus + Package A leading independent international Real Estate Consultancy is seeking a Chartered Fire Engineer to head up and lead their growing Fire Engineering division. We are looking to engage with either individuals currently operating at Director, or individuals at Principal/Associate level who have the ambition to step into a more commercially focused role. With significant projects already in place and additional fees being outsourced to 3 rd  party consultants, this Property Consultancy is looking to establish an in-house Fire Engineering Consultancy, to mirror the success of their established technical service offerings. They have significant fees already secured and future business development is straight forward, as projects are secured via internal stakeholders from Project Management, Asset Management and Building Surveying, Fire Engineering projects are drawn from existing projects with a Fire requirement and tapped into. You will be supported by the wider UK technical team across a network of offices across the UK. A dynamic and solutions-driven project and building consultancy, offering tailored technical expertise across a wide range of commercial property sectors. Their integrated approach ensures seamless support throughout the entire asset lifecycle, combining project and building consultancy with specialist services to meet the diverse needs of their clients. The Role: Chartered Partner Fire Engineer, responsible for playing a key role in growing the service offering. Sat within the Building Consultancy department, Partners are responsible for driving business plan initiatives, developing a strong business pipeline of new and repeat clients, empowering staff development and ensuring high professional standards at all times. The individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining fire safety systems and protocols to ensure the safety of their clients’ buildings and occupants. The role will involve coordinating and undertaking a wide range of instructions across the fire engineering discipline, including consultancy advice, project management and contract administration, technical due diligence and statutory reporting and compliance on a range of commercial property. The role requires a deep understanding of fire dynamics, fire protection engineering principles, and relevant regulations and standards, and will have a strong focus on client liaison and management, with an emphasis on developing relationships and a network within the sector that will last a career. Senior Electrical Engineer

Minimum of 6  years' UK experience in electrical design engineering within the building services industry. ideally Chartered Engineer status. Knowledge and experience of British Standards and relevant codes of practice. Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. Experience in using electrical design software such as Amtech, Dialux, or equivalent. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to lead and manage a team. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Mechanical Engineer

Key Accountabilities Produce detailed design calculations and preparation of design drawings, specifications, and information. Assist in the practical training of Graduate and Technician Engineers. Managing a team of junior engineers. Receive brief from Principal Engineer about initial design information. Produce all design information as outlined in the Project Management Plan. Ensure that all calculations and drawings have been properly checked. Liaise with internal and external Design Team, Client and Contractors. Assemble all calculations, drawings, correspondence, and other project documents. Consider financial implications in producing design option. Maintain good communication with Clients, Design Team and Contractors to meet the Company’s standards in customer care. Ensure client satisfaction in project delivery with a view to obtaining repeat business. Maintain and develop an understanding of the key software. You will need to have the below 3 years’+ Experience of Mechanical building services design. Experience in Residential project detail design (Stage 4). Experience of attending the client meetings.
