Due to rapidly increasing client demand for theirdesign services, an opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Building ServicesEngineer to join their Eurocentral team. Your new role As an ElectricalBuilding Services Engineer, you are expected to have a track record in one or,preferably, multiple sectors that our client operates in. You will ideally beworking towards becoming a Chartered Engineer with experience working on avariety of projects. You will be part of an enthusiastic and committed team ofEngineers and Technicians to deliver high quality output on projects. Your responsibilitieswill include: Provide engineering services design and consultancy work on behalf of our client, and under the direction of the line manager or project lead. Design and specify all aspects of Electrical Services engineering in accordance with current guidelines, standards, regulations and project deliverables. Produce design deliverables (including drawings, specifications and reports), site surveys, construction stage duties, client liaison with members of design/construction teams, project management, costing and ensure progress against the project brief. Contribute to the development and mentoring of their junior engineers and the continuous improvement of departmental capabilities. Champion quality and compliance controls within local teams and projects. Be able to achieve and maintain security clearance for the role as required by their clients and sectors. What you'll need to succeed Extensive experience in Electrical systems design for Building Services projects. Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent. Working towards chartership. Good knowledge of CIBSE standards, UK standards, etc. Working knowledge of industry standard design software including AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux, etc. Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
