Led by an ambitious, young, Chartered Engineer they are now looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer. Rather than getting stuck on large, slow moving projects for years, here you'll be involved in fast-track projects, typically valued in the £1 to £5M (i.e. in terms of M&E services values) that need to be completed within 6 - 12 months. Rather than only getting involved in Electrical design, here you will also develop your skills in HVAC. You'll be involved in the true, full lifecycle of a project which will develop you into a technically robust and commercially aware engineer. Their business is built around delivery and trust. Providing you can attend their office in Hertfordshire once a week, you are fee to choose to work from wherever you feel most productive. This unique opportunity will allow you to develop experience across the design and installation of not just electrical, but also mechanical services. Junior Mechanical Estimator

Due to growth, they are now seeking a Junior Mechanical Estimator to join their team.   THE ROLE – JUNIOR MECHANICAL ESTIMATOR We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Mechanical Estimator to support our growing team. This entry-level role focuses on assisting with cost estimation for mechanical systems including HVAC, industrial. The ideal candidate has a background in mechanical engineering or building services and a keen eye for detail, with a desire to build a long-term career in mechanical estimating. Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing cost proposals for mechanical systems (HVAC, BMS, Electrical, CAT A, Central plant replacement (Chiller, Boilers) Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Support Associate Director Head of Projects in developing detailed scope of work and pricing breakdowns. Review and analyse quotations from subcontractors and Suppliers Participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client walkthroughs when necessary. REQUIREMENTS Education & Experience: Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related technical field. Previous experience, in mechanical estimating or construction is preferred but not required. Skills & Competencies: Understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC) Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and construction documents. Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Work experience with AutoCAD Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
