Role OverviewSeeking an enthusiastic and skilled Intermediate Electrical Engineer, the role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across sectors such as commercial, healthcare, education, and residential. You will collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable design solutions. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of electrical or mechanical building services systems. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Hevacomp). Support project delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and standards. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Contribute to sustainability and energy efficiency strategies within designs. Participate in site visits, surveys, and inspections as required. Requirements Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. 2-4 years' experience in a building services consultancy environment. Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards (BS, CIBSE, IET). Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and calculation tools. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Your New Company Hays Building Services are pleased to be assisting a consultancy in Bristol in the recruitment of a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their busy team.
