Mechanical Engineer | Building Services

Your new role As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high‑quality design solutions from initial concept through to final implementation. Your responsibilities will include: Developing mechanical design solutions and contributing to project strategy from early concept to completion Undertaking mechanical design calculations for major building projects Producing high‑quality design drawings, schematics, diagrams, specifications and schedules Ensuring mechanical designs comply with British Standards, Building Regulations and all relevant industry guidance Embedding energy‑efficient and low‑carbon principles within all mechanical solutions Collaborating closely with clients, contractors and internal design teams to ensure project objectives are met Supporting less experienced engineers and contributing to a strong team environment Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, fully understanding project briefs and delivering to expectations What you'll need to succeed You will already be operating at an intermediate level within a building services consultancy and be ready to take the next step in your career.
