We are expanding our team and are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer who will play a key role in strengthening our engineering capability. The Role As a Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer , you will take a lead role in designing and delivering electrical engineering solutions for a wide range of projects. You will be working closely with clients, consultants and fellow engineers, contributing your expertise at every project stage. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver electrical engineering designs from concept through to detailed stages in line with RIBA work stages. Prepare specifications, technical reports, layout drawings and contract documents. Lead electrical design strategy discussions with clients and stakeholders. Support tender processes, including contractor selection and evaluation. Attend site meetings and Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a positive team environment. Ensure all designs comply with current regulations, sustainability goals and client expectations. About You We’re looking for someone passionate about engineering and motivated by high-quality outcomes. You will have: Either demonstrable experience in a consulting engineering environment or relevant transferrable skills. Solid experience in electrical design (power, lighting, alarms, PV, EVC, etc.). Strong understanding of IET Wiring Regulations, Building Regulations, BREEAM and sustainable design principles. Proficiency in relevant software such as Amtech/Trimble, Relux/Dialux. Experience with Revit (desirable). Excellent communication and client-facing skills. The ability to work independently, make decisions and lead by example.
