Experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment post‑qualification. Basic understanding of ventilation, pneumatic, hydraulic and steam service systems. Strong electrical fault‑finding ability with a logical approach to problem solving. Knowledge of electrical control systems and electrical drive systems. Proactive attitude towards maintenance, reliability and equipment improvement. Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams. Desirable: Experience with Siemens PLC logic, programming, fault diagnosis and repair. Experience working with industrial robotics. Understanding of plant safety systems and interlocking. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification. Experience with Siemens or Beckhoff PLCs (training can be provided).
