Senior Public Health Engineer
An independent specialist MEP engineering consultancy established in 2005. Join a dynamic team of c30 experienced engineers and designers providing innovative and sustainable solutions for a range of projects across various sectors, in the UK and Internationally. The firm is independently owned by the Directors and employees, all based together in one office, supporting each other without corporate interference or distractions irrelevant to project delivery. They can provide technical support when needed but otherwise trust employees to independently manage their workload. Approximately two thirds of their turnover is derived from overseas projects, having undertaken projects in Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, Russia, Vietnam, Germany, UAE, Angola and the Bahamas. Their key sectors are commercial offices, mixed use developments, luxury hotels, concert halls, theatres and airports. As a Senior Public Health Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the plumbing design solutions on complex projects from initial concept through to final delivery, represent the business in front of clients and architects, and provide mentorship and guidance to more junior team members. Responsibilities: Lead the public health design on complex and large-scale UK and International projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare and industrial. Manage the delivery of public health design solutions in accordance with British Standards and relevant codes of practice. Produce detailed public health designs and specifications for projects, ensuring compliance with performance requirements and energy efficiency standards. Undertake detailed calculations and simulations to validate the public health design solutions. Attend site visits and meetings with clients, architects, and contractors. Work collaboratively with other engineers and design team members to ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met. Mentor junior engineers to ensure their development and provide technical guidance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging public health design technologies and practices. Requirements: Degree qualified. Minimum of 5 years' UK experience in public health design engineering within the building services industry. Ideally Chartered Engineer status. Knowledge and experience of British Standards and relevant codes of practice. Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to lead and manage a team. Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Revit Technician (MEP)
Your new company A well-established and respected M&E Contractor with over 25 years of success is seeking a Revit Technician to join their growing projects division. Known for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical services across healthcare, education, commercial, heritage, residential, and hospitality sectors, they specialise in both new build and refurbishment projects throughout NI and the UK. Your new role You'll take ownership of your own projects while contributing to coordinated BIM delivery across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage detailed MEP Revit models (ductwork, piping, containment, equipment). Produce construction and fabrication drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and schedules. Coordinate with architectural and structural teams to resolve clashes and ensure spatial efficiency. Conduct model reviews and quality checks to meet project and industry standards. Manage documentation and version control within CDEs (Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite). Stay current with BIM tools and participate in ongoing training. What you'll need to succeed Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with hands-on MEP modelling experience. Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design requirements. Able to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with BIM tools like Navisworks and Dynamo is a plus.
