Intermediate Electrical Engineer

Our client is a privately owned, award-winning building services consultancy established in 1987. They have experienced steady growth by providing first class project delivery and now consist of a team of 50 multi-disciplinary Building Services and Sustainability Engineers. They are looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to work on some of the UKs largest high end residential and hotel projects. Building Services Experience required:  Low Voltage (LV) Distribution General and Emergency Lighting General LV Power Access Control, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and Intruder Alarms Fire Detection and Alarm Lightning and Surge Protection Systems The role will involve: Complete survey work and site inspections Undertake design calculations using various methods, from hand calculations to software-based modelling Prepare drawn information Write technical specification Write technical reports Problem solve, initiate solutions typically identified by Senior Engineer Support the Senior Management Team with client relationship management on projects they are working on Take responsibility for their own professional and personal development In order to be considered for this role you will have: Minimum 3-6 years building services consultancy experience A degree qualification - Electrical or building services (Chartered or working towards). An HNC or HND with suitable design experience will also be considered Client interaction skills Software design ideally including Microsoft Office, Amtech and Dialux Knowledge of British standards, building regulations documents, etc Knowledge of HTMs would also be of benefit Professional membership (CIBSE, IET, IMechE) They are offering: Flexible working (2 days in the office, 3 days working from home) Salary range of £40,000 to £50,000 Enhanced medical cash plan for employees and family Private medical insurance (Bupa) Dental insurance (Bupa) Pension (3%) 25 days holiday (plus public holidays)

Mechanical Engineer

Our client is a privately owned building services consultancy established in 1987. They have experienced steady growth by providing first class project delivery and now consist of a team of 50 multi-disciplinary Building Services and Sustainability Engineers. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on some of the UK’s largest high end residential and hotel projects. Key Accountabilities Produce detailed design calculations and preparation of design drawings, specifications, and information. Assist in the practical training of Graduate and Technician Engineers. Managing a team of junior engineers. Receive brief from Principal Engineer about initial design information. Produce all design information as outlined in the Project Management Plan. Ensure that all calculations and drawings have been properly checked. Liaise with internal and external Design Team, Client and Contractors. Assemble all calculations, drawings, correspondence, and other project documents. Consider financial implications in producing design option. Maintain good communication with Clients, Design Team and Contractors to meet the Company’s standards in customer care. Ensure client satisfaction in project delivery with a view to obtaining repeat business. Maintain and develop an understanding of the key software. You will need to have the below 3 years’+ Experience of Mechanical building services design. Experience in Residential project detail design (Stage 4). Experience of attending the client meetings. Sustainability Consultant/BREEAM Assessor

They are looking for a Lead Sustainable Consultant to work on some of the UK’s largest high end residential and hotel projects. Responsibilities: Manage a team of six people working on sustainability initiatives. Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives. Monitor and report on progress towards sustainability goals. Work with other departments to ensure that sustainability is integrated into all aspects of the projects. Stay up to date with the latest sustainability trends and technologies. Ensure compliance with relevant sustainability standards and regulations. Communicate sustainability initiatives and progress to our clients. Requirements: Knowledge of sustainability standards and regulations. Experience managing a team of people. Strong communication and leadership skills. Knowledge of BREEAM and SAP. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
