Key Responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services across a range of projects, from small-scale surveys to £50m developments. Provide technical leadership and oversight on projects in sectors including Parliament, Ministry of Justice, Education, Retail, Offices, Higher Education, Defence, Residential, and Nuclear. Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and internal teams to develop integrated and sustainable engineering solutions. Support and mentor intermediate and junior engineers, fostering technical growth and quality delivery. Undertake feasibility studies, condition surveys, and technical advisory roles as required. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices. Contribute to sector-based development as the business evolves under new ownership. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in mechanical building services design within a consultancy environment. Strong technical proficiency in relevant design software and tools (e.g., Hevacomp, IES, AutoCAD, Revit - Revit capability advantageous). Demonstrable experience across multiple sectors with a preference for candidates with a stable career history (minimum 2+ years per role). Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage client relationships and internal teams. Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership (CIBSE or IMechE). Why Join? Principal/Associate Mechanical Engineer
