Ductwork Installer / Lead Engineer
Job Title: Ductwork Installation Engineer / Lead Engineer THE COMPANY My client are a specialist mechanical contractor working within the construction industry. They design, supply, install, service & maintain air conditioning, heating & ventilation systems to commercial buildings. Established in 2004, they are based out of their offices are in Hertfordshire & currently employ 30 people. Due to growth of projects, they are seeking a Ductwork Engineer or Lead Engineer to join their team. THE ROLE - Ductwork Installation Engineer / Lead Engineer Location : Initial based on a project in Central London, but this will be a mobile role covering London & The Home Counties. Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours/week + overtime) You will be carrying out the Installation of various ductwork systems to high standard and quality, alongside our ductwork team. You will be also be assisting in carrying out the Installation of various ductwork systems to high standard and quality, alongside our ductwork team. Mechanical Project Manager / Site Manager
My client is a specialist mechanical contractor working within the construction industry who have been established since the early 2000’s. They design, supply, install, service & maintain air conditioning, heating & ventilation systems to commercial buildings. Based in Hertfordshire they currently employ 30 people across the business and are seeking an HVAC Project Manager to join the team. They are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager or Mechanical Site Manager to join the business on a 3-month temporary basis. The ideal candidate will come from a wet services/plumbing background but have experience managing Mechanical & HVAC projects. Experience of DWS (toilet & shower blocks, domestic and commercial kitchens and LTHW/CHW installations). THE JOB – MECHANICAL PROJECT MANAGER / SITE MANAGER (SITE BASED) Monday – Friday / 9am – 5.30pm / 40 Hour Weeks You will be based on a large new commercial development project in Temple which is in First Fix Stage. You will be working alongside a Mechanically biased Project Manager and an HVAC biased Project Manager. Duties in Role Overseeing the installation of Chilled Water Pipe Work, Copper Pipework, Commercial Kitchens, Delivery of AC, Ventilation and Mechanical installation projects, from pre-start meeting to handover. Maintaining professional relationships with clients at all times. Responding to client enquiries in a timely manner. Maintaining & adhering to any client procedures. Enforcing & adhering policies & procedures without exception. Enforcing & adhering to governing regulations without exception. Mechanical Design Engineer

Your new role As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and producing working design drawings for handover to contracts for delivery. You will maintain a close working relationship with the contracts team from start to finish and collaborate with the design team from inception to completion. Your role will involve maintaining and updating all design-related information, issues, and coordination with the project team. Experience in conducting site surveys and delivering design information and drawings within agreed timescales.
