Senior Sustainability Consultant (Client Side) London - to £50,000 + c.10% Bonus + Pension 12% + Package. Job Description We are currently seeking to recruit an individual with a genuine passion for sustainability to support this strategic growth opportunity. You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in sustainability (or related field), ideally within a consultancy environment. An understanding of commercial property is desirable, but not essential. The role is for a Senior Consultant grade, reporting directly into the Associate leading this area of work nationally with a team around you to support delivery. They promote a flexible working model and would expect a balance of office and home working. The following minimum requirements form a key part of this role with the desirable requirements being an opportunity to demonstrate industry experience and knowledge. Practical experience or strong working knowledge of developing, implementing, and maintaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, including conducting internal audits (e.g., holding an Internal Auditor qualification). You will also support the energy consulting and certification services for new and existing buildings, whilst working with like-minded professionals in an innovative, dedicated and collaborative team environment. What you’ll need: Practical experience or strong working knowledge of developing, implementing, and maintaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, including conducting internal audits (e.g., holding an Internal Auditor qualification). (Desirable) experience in the design and delivery of green building certifications within the built environment, including target setting, data analysis, legislative compliance, and auditing. Certifications may include (but are not limited to) BREEAM, LEED, WELL, and Fitwel. Hands-on experience with advanced data analytics, including conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA). Experience in preparing and delivering routine internal and external reports for client stakeholders. Demonstrated passion for driving energy efficiency and sustainability within the built environment. Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills. Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a dynamic, collaborative team. Self-motivated and confident, with a strong drive for continuous learning and professional development. A local authority in London have asked me to find an Electrical Design Engineer for their inhouse design consultancy offering. Their design team is an in-house, fee-earning multi-disciplinary consultancy service covering a full range of MEP design, architecture and structural services. Their project portfolio is diverse and consists of leisure centres, residential developments, libraries, schools and offices. They offer a lot of flexibility and request that you attend their Head office (Zone 2, Central London) one day a week and they support flexible working times, with an option of starting anytime between 7am to 10am.
