MEP BIM Technician

About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented BIM Technician to join our dynamic and collaborative team of building services engineers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of innovative, sustainable, and technically excellent projects across a wide range of sectors.As a BIM Technician, you will play a key role in the development and coordination of digital models, supporting the design process from concept through to construction. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of Building Information Modelling (BIM) into our project workflows. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage 3D models using Revit and other BIM software. Produce coordinated MEP drawings and details to support design development. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure model accuracy and consistency. Assist in the implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project-specific standards. Support clash detection and resolution processes using tools such as Navisworks. Maintain model integrity and ensure compliance with industry standards and protocols. Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM workflows and digital delivery. Sectors You'll Work InYou will be involved in a diverse portfolio of projects across the following sectors: Commercial - including office developments, mixed-use schemes, and retail spaces. Healthcare - from hospitals and specialist care facilities to research laboratories. Education - covering primary, secondary, and higher education institutions. Residential - including high-rise developments, student accommodation, and social housing. Science & Research - such as laboratories, clean rooms, and innovation centres. Heritage & Culture - working on sensitive refurbishments and conservation-led designs. Transport & Infrastructure - including rail, aviation, and mobility hubs. Leisure & Hospitality - such as hotels, sports venues, and entertainment complexes. About You Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD; experience with Navisworks is desirable. 2 Years' UK BIM MEP experience Understanding of MEP systems and building services coordination. Familiarity with BIM Level 2 standards and ISO 19650. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications & Experience HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Building Services, Engineering, or a related discipline.
