ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR – BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTOR – KENT My client is a well-established Building Services Contractor based in Kent, operating for over 15 years. With a team of over 20 dedicated professionals, they specialise in the Commercial, Hotel, and Retail sectors, regularly delivering projects with values up to £2.5 million. They pride themselves on being a flexible, team-oriented company where everyone supports each other to get the job done. Due to a continued increase in tenders, they are now looking to recruit an Electrical Estimator to join their friendly and professional team. THE JOB – ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR Hours:  Monday – Friday / 8:30am – 4:30pm Location:  Kent Software Used:  EnSign Duties will include: Reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications. Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical installations on commercial, hotel, and retail projects. Sending out and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations. Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams. Conducting site visits to assess requirements and gather project information. Assisting in the preparation of tender submissions. Maintaining and updating a database of prices, labour rates, and material costs. Attending pre- and post-tender meetings as required. Working closely with project managers and engineers to ensure continuity from estimate to project delivery. Projects range from £50m - £600m Your new role In your new role, you will be working as an Associate Electrical or Mechanical Engineer on highly complex and technical MoD projects, including Shooting Ranges, Bespoke Training Facilities, UK Defence Facilities and DEOP (Defence Estates Optimise Programme). As well as MoD, you will be working on highly detailed labs, including Public Health England and Defence labs with both clean rooms and Cat 4 Labs.
